How  Enzymes Deficiency and Digestive Dysfunction

Enzymes are basically essential in the existence of an organism. Within the human body, these protein molecules play two major roles: to facilitate the chemical reactions all throughout the body and to breakdown food components in order for the nutrients to be easily absorbed by the body.

 Amino acids serve as the building blocks of all proteins and hormones while also acting as essential neurotransmitters throughout the body. Amino acids are derived from dietary protein. And in order to harvest these vital elements, enzymes are needed to cleave proteins derived from food. If the enzymes are insufficient and these proteins are not properly digested, the body will then experience imbalances in the neurotransmitters and hormones.  

However, enzyme and nutrition deficiency is only one of the various causes of the imbalances in the neurotransmitters. Other factors include neurotoxicity and drugs.
